Milan Area Historical Society
The Milan Area Historical Society was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1972 to preserve and present history relating to the City of Milan and the surrounding area including Azalia, Cone, Mooreville, Oakville, Whittaker and Willis. The society also has developed a historical museum called the Hack House for the purpose of displaying artifacts from Milan’s past. The museum is located at 775 County Street and is open Fridays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. May through November, or by appointment.
